CHIP DESIGNER AMD launched its highest playing second generation embedded R-series accelerated process unit (APU) and central processor lines on Tuesday, codenamed American eagle.
Made for embedded applications, the 28nm chip is aimed toward delivery 4K quality displays to recreation machines, medical imaging, digital collection, industrial management and automation, and communications and networking infrastructure that ar more and more wishing on reckon and graphics process technology.

The R-series family is additionally designed for embedded applications with dual-channel memory as well as error-correcting code (ECC), DDR3-2133 support and configurable thermal style power (TDP) for system style flexibility to optimise the processor at a lower TDP, AMD said.
